The Bucks travel to Oldham to take on Avro in an attempt to take three points back to Merseyside. Bootle came away with a 3-1 win at The Whitebank Stadium last season and will be hoping for a similar result.
Bootle’s last outing was an impressive 4-2 victory away to Hednesford Town on December 3rd. The Bucks had a home fixture scheduled for the following Saturday against Witton Albion but unfortunately the infamous Storm Darragh stepped in and the fixture was postponed. Although, this match is a good chance for Mick McGraa’s side to win two away fixtures in a row and to regain a winning mentality.
Avro are currently sitting a place below Bootle with a point behind The Bucks and with a game in hand. This fixture is a chance for Avro to go above Bootle in the league whilst also having the advantage of the extra fixture.
