Bootle blow yet another lead after going 3-0 up after 14 minutes but lose 6-3 to Vauxhall Motors.

Bootle started the game astonishingly as Conor Harwood scored just shy of two minutes into the game. Just a couple of minutes later Ben Hodkinson doubled Bootle’s lead after converting his shot into the far corner.
Ben Hodkinson sealed his brace just on the 14th minute as Bootle went 3-0 up. Nick Rushton pulled one back after capitalising on a mistake from Bootle.
Toby Jones brought the scoreline to a one goal gap after volleying in a free kick, a magnificent finish in all fairness. The visitors almost levelled the scoreline as a scramble in Bootle’s area almost found its way into the net but George Huyton collected the ball.
Ben Hodkinson almost bagged a hat trick as he took a shot as the ball was bouncing but his effort went wide of the goal.
Just over ten minutes into the second half Vauxhall Motors found their way to leading the game with goals from Nick Rushton sealing his hat trick in dramatic fashion. Bootle had completely lost control the game at this point.
Veteran Kevin Ellison came off the bench to score Vauxhall’s fifth goal of the game, deservedly the visitors went 5-3 up. Sam Hughes prevented Paddy Kay from scoring a sixth for Vauxhall Motors with a last ditch tackle in the area, superb defending from Hughes.
Ben Hodkinson attempted to pull one back for Bootle but his shot went straight into the hands of Jack Atkinson. Minutes later Conor Rankin put away his rebounded effort off the post in front of an open goal which was the last nail in Bootle’s coffin.
