Bootle make the journey to Staffordshire to face Newcastle Town in an effort to put an end to their bad run of form of late with a good win and an impressive performance.
By Brendan Doyle
It’s no secret that The Bucks haven’t been at their best in recent weeks as their bad run of form has seen them pick up only three points in their last six outings, resulting in them being placed 21st in the league form guide. As mentioned in the post match interview with Patrick Bratin on Tuesday night following a 2-0 home defeat to Congleton Town, Bootle can’t afford to have their heads down and they’re recovery needs to start with a win against Newcastle Town.
Newcastle Town will be keen to continue their impressive run of form as they last faced defeat in the league back in late August when Nantwich Town defeated The Castle 2-1 at The Lyme Valley Stadium. Neil Baker’s side will be in full belief they can extend their undefeated run further and will be keen to capitalise on the visiting Bootle’s bad form.
