To kick off February, The Bucks take on Congleton Town at The Cleric Stadium in an effort to get a second consecutive away win. Bootle went undefeated in January and will be hopeful of carrying their good switch of form into the new month.

On Tuesday night Bootle boss Mick McGraa walked away with a 2-0 away victory at his former club Vauxhall Motors, Bootle’s biggest win of the year so far as The Motors were second in the table and The Bucks managed to win convincingly. The Bucks now sit 12th in the table and have picked up seven points in their last three games without conceding, but they have a huge road block in their way as Congleton Town are currently 3rd in the league table and six points away from being top of the pile.
Congleton Town have had a fantastic campaign since entering the league at the start of the 2024/25 campaign, Richard Duffy has led the side to 3rd in the table so far and the fans will be more than confident that they can cement a place in the play offs at the end of the season. Despite a blistering campaign for The Bears, their last outing was away to Widnes in which resulted in a 5-1 defeat and since January 4th they’ve failed to pick up a win, but today could be the day that sees Congleton Town pick up a win again and put their name in conversations for title contenders.
