Bootle welcome Hanley Town to the Berry Street Garage Stadium in a battle for three points as both sides are in desperate need of it.
By Brendan Doyle
As we approach the later stages of the season, Bootle find themselves just five points away from the drop zone and currently sitting 15th in the league standings. In order to put the minds of everyone at Bootle Football Club a little bit more at ease in terms of worry over the threat of potential relegation, the lads need to ensure a win on our home turf and put three points on the board.
Our visitors from Stoke On Trent are, in simple terms, extremely desperate for three points as a loss on Merseyside could very well see relegation for Hanley Town dependant on results elsewhere in the league. Hanley Town currently sit on eighteen points and even a win today with elsewhere results going in their favour is still a huge ask for Scott Dundas’s men but they will certainly fight tooth and nail until the end.
