In a continuation for survival in the division, Bootle travel to Mossley in an attempt to extend their five point gap from the relegation zone. A win against Mossley today and results elsewhere shifting in Bootle’s favour could see them go eight points clear from the drop zone.
By Brendan Doyle
Last week against fierce rivals City Of Liverpool, Bootle walked away victorious by three goals to nil on their home turf which was desperately needed to lift the hopes and spirits of everyone at the club. Beforehand The Bucks went six games without a win and picked up just one point, recently appointed Bootle boss Alan Morgan will be hoping to build on that win and will be going to Seel Park with momentum behind both himself and his squad.
The Lilywhites currently sit in 14th place in the division only two places above their opponents today, however there is only a point between the two sides. A defeat for Mossley today could see them drop further down the table and they would find themselves amongst the pack fighting for survival in the division.
