The Bucks travel to East Cheshire to take on one time Isuzu FA Trophy winners Nantwich Town who currently sit 4th in the league table with 36 points.

Since their 4-2 away win against Hednesford Town over a fortnight ago, Bootle have only picked up a point in their last two outings. Although Bootle were unfortunate to concede a very late equaliser on Tuesday night whilst hosting Chasetown, The Bucks were 2-1 ahead up until the 88th minute when substitute Alfie Taylor made them game 2-2 to rescue a point for the visitors. Despite dropping two points, Bootle looked far from out of their depth against a side who were in the top 5, will it be similar on Saturday?
Nantwich Town are in a very impressive position at this stage of the campaign as mentioned above. Their last two fixtures however, have resulted in The Dabbers only picking up a point just like Bootle but before that, Nantwich Town went four league games unbeaten. Their target man Kai Evans will be on high alert for Bootle’s defence today as the 20 year old Welshman comes into today’s game second place in the league’s top goal scorers chart with 11 goals in 20 appearances, Evans could be a huge potential threat for the visiting Bucks today.
The last time that these two sides met was on the opening day of this season, as goals from Andy Scarisbrick and a marvellous free kick in the last minute of the 90 from Jack Lenehan sealed all three points for the Bucks to kick off the season.
