The Bucks will take on 3rd placed Stalybridge Celtic at The Berry Street Garage Stadium, just five weeks ago they faced a 2-1 away defeat to today’s visitors.

Bootle are coming off the back of a 1-1 draw away to Newcastle Town last Saturday, although only coming away from Newcastle Under Lyme with just a point, it’s fair to say the performance was enhanced from the latter fixtures the Bootle faithful had been seeing week in week out. Fantastic late saves from Newcastle Town keeper Joseph Sinn declined all three points for The Bucks as he kept out efforts from Jay Cooper and Jack Lenehan.
Visitors Stalybridge Celtic are off to a fairly good start to the league campaign as they currently sit 3rd in the table and beat local rivals Avro 1-0 at home in their last league outing. The departure of James Kinsey has left Liam Tongue at the helm on an interim basis and will be in the dug out for this fixture.
Club Fact File:
Founded: 1909
The Manager: Following Stalybridge Celtic parting ways with James Kinsey last week, they appointed Liam Tounge as Interim Manager. As a player, Tongue featured for the club in two spells, also for Marine, Mossley, Cheadle Town, Hyde United and Guiseley AFC.
The Ground: There has been a ground at Bower Fold since 1906. The current main stand was built in 1996, with the covered stand at the Town End (Joe Jackson Stand) dating from 1994. The main stand, replaced a wooden one dating from 1909, which held 500 fans, before being converted to tip-up seating with a reduced capacity of around 400 persons. The Lord Pendry Stand opened in 2004, replacing a covered terrace dating from the 1950s. The Mottram End cover stems from construction starting in the 1970s and finishing in the mid '80s. The main stand, holding about 700 people, is all seated. Its opposite stand, the Lord Pendry stand has 652 seats. The total capacity is 6,500 (1,300.)
