On Saturday afternoon, The Bucks take on Widnes at The Berry Street Garage Stadium in a bid to win three points and propel further up the league table.

Bootle made a very impressive turnout last week on their home turf with a 5-2 victory against Stalybridge Celtic. Debutant Courtney Duffus scored two goals on his Bootle debut and Sean Williams put in his arguably best performance in a Bootle shirt whilst also scoring from 25 yards out dazzling the famous Dodge Kop. The Bucks will be wanting to repeat last week’s dominant performance against the visitors Widnes today and Mick McGraa will be aiming to do just that.
Widnes have started the season very well by all accounts, collecting 24 points in 13 games whilst currently sit 2nd in the table and have only faced three defeats in their league campaign. The Whites have every reason to believe they can push for a promotion given how their league campaign has gone so far and a win at The Berry Street Garage Stadium would take them a step closer to achieving it.
