Wythenshawe capitalise on 10 men Bootle as The Bucks come away from Manchester with a 3-1 defeat.

The first big chance for Bootle came to Sean Williams from outside the box but the effort fizzled wide. A chance also fell to the hosts minutes later but Tom Hannigan headed the attempt off the line keeping the game level.
Bootle started the game attempting the long ball to newest recruit Courtney Duffus but the Wythenshawe defence seemed to have an answer each time.
A Sean Williams threaded through ball looked as though it was about to find Conor Harwood, but Fraser Goodwin intercepted with the end of his toe, fantastic defending.
In the later stages of the first half Abdullahi Ahmed put the ball into the back of the net after successfully meeting it from a corner, which would be enough for Wythenshawe to exit the field for half time 1-0 ahead.
Three minutes into the second half Darrhyl Mason was through on goal but only to end up skying his one on one effort, a chance the latter really should’ve converted and doubled the lead. After a quiet ten minute spell in the game, Conor Harwood’s chopped effort levelled the game for The Bucks.
Jack Lenehan had a great chance to nudge Bootle in front when he seemed through on goal but his shot was safely handled by Kyle Haslam. Just as Bootle seemed to gain momentum, Conor Harwood made a very rash challenge and received a second yellow card only minutes after his equaliser.
The game seemed to slip away from Bootle as a Jay Roberts own goal put Wythenshawe 2-1 ahead, leaving Bootle a goal and a player down. Minutes later, Ryan Tiofo received the ball from a errored Sean Smith pass, but his shot flew right over the bar.
Once again Darrhyl Mason just narrowly missed out on putting his name on the score sheet after Tony Thompson magnificently saved his shot, although five minutes after the miss, Mason would redeem himself and put his side 3-1 up.
The full time score finished 3-1 to Wythenshawe.
